Rabel Systems winner at the Red Dot Product Design Awards 2019

Every year leading brands like Apple, Samsung, Ferrari, Porsche, Dyson, Grohe etc. are eager to compete in product design so as to get awarded the prestigious RED DOT DESIGN AWARD. Its our honor to be part of this leading design community which competes internationally at the highest level.

For more than 60 years, the RED DOT AWARD – one of the world’s largest design competitions – has been providing a platform for designers and companies to assess good design. The experience and expertise of the RED DOT jury in the evaluation process is unparalleled. True to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, they have tested individually each of the more than 5,500 products entered from more than 55 countries and have reached a joint decision to award RABEL SYSTEMS this distinction. Winning this award bears testimony to the exceptional design quality of RABEL SYSTEMS products at an international level.

Traditionally Aluminium systems do not take part in the RED DOT PRODUCT DESIGN competition due to very low design content.  Once more the RABEL SYSTEMS research and development department has brought the change in the Aluminium industry through the creation of a new category of products with emphasis on the design. Aluminium systems in addition to their primary function can now play a role as design elements on a building.
RABEL Envelop 3D has inspired an expert jury of 40 independent designers, design professors and specialist journalists who tested each individual product before awarding RABEL SYSTEMS with the desirable distinction of the RED DOT. This tremendous recognition means that our RABEL ENVELOP 3D now comes with the RED DOT internationally sought-after Seal of Quality.

The RABEL ENVELOP 3D winning features have been the high quality of the design, its minimalistic lines, the unparalleled flexibility in creating innovative facades and the numerous innovations introduced.

RABEL ENVELOP 3D is a facade platform, invented by RABEL SYSTEMS,  able to seamlessly integrate typologies like sliding, folding, pivot, pivot-slide, casement, fixed, curtainwall, spider glass, glass railings, shading louvers, fly screens, drywalls e.t.c using a single track without intermediate posts. All typologies can work with each other and can lock on each other in a continuous façade. All typologies can integrate in a row, in front of each other, on top of each other or on the bottom of each other. True and full integration. All typologies are minimal thermal.
